I don’t know why, but I wasn’t tired last night, so I tied this tube at 3am.

I used a gold holographic Classic Tube and a Super Sonic Disc from Pro Sportfisher for it

I don’t know why, but I’m still not bored to tie tube flies. You can freely play with colors and just let your creativity flow over the tying desk. This one is tied on a clear flexi tube and weighted with a raw weight made out of tungsten. The wing is made out of 5 small wings from fox tails.

two more tube flies from yesterday and today….it’s just so fun to tie them….

This evening, I was in a mood to tie a tube fly in earthy colors like different types of olive, brown, etc. tied on a Pro Sportfisher Flexi Tube, weighted with a small Tungsten Raw Weigth.

I was asked to tie some sunray styled tubes for a dude’s trip to river Gaula in the summer. That’s what came out of the vise…hopefully 30 pound of pure chrome will like them. ;-)

Today I played around with spey hackles on this tube fly. The wing made out of arctic fox is put together from 3 wings with different length. The head is finished with uv resin. It almost looks like a conehead, but it isn’t.

This is the first fly in 2013… ;-)
