I tie on a Renzetti Master since some years. On some places on the vise, the grey color was rubbed away, because I often place my hands there while tying. I doesn’t looked nice anymore, so I decided to sand and polish my vise. It’s not perfect, but it looks very nice, at least for me. ;-)
