This is a little guy, which I really like. It’s just 5-6 cm long, tied on a hook size 6. In the front is a tungsten bead. The head made of deer hair is soaked with Uv resin. It’s almost indestructible. 💣 The body is ice dub and a nice Zonker strip. Brought me some really nice fish in the past years. Good for browntrout and seatrout as well. The fly you see on the photo is fished and almost three years old.
A streamer pattern which I really like. You don’t need fancy stuff for these. A good hook, I used Ahrex Light Stinger size 4, high quality zonker strips, fluoro fibre for the hot spot, a nice dubbing mix of your choise, some rabbit or marabou for the collar and pretty eyes. To secure the eyes, I use super glue and Bug Bond. I often put some weight in the front of the hook, to balance the hook, or to give the streamer a jigging effect.
I like those kind of nymphs. Easy to tie, very durable and it sinks extremely fast, because of the weight and the slim profile. Top fishing fly.
A baitfishfly tied in the Aspinator-Style for many predatory fish. Moves awesome in the current. This ones was spiced up with some Angelina Fibres.
Articulated Pike Fly with a 6/0 Ahrexhooks PR 351 in the front and a 2/0 in the back. Bucktail, flash and feathers are the main ingredients for it.
Just playing around with pike in mind. Looks massiv, but it’s fluffy! 😁 @ahrexhooks PR 351 6/0 Barbless in the front and a PR 351 2/0 Barbless in the end. Feathers, Bucktail, Nayat, Craftfur and Flash.
